In honor of October’s Respect Life Month, this webinar will offer humanizing stories of individuals on death row and the many people undeniably impacted by capital punishment. The webinar will also share a timely update on the status of the death penalty practice at federal and state levels while offering meaningful actions you can take to advocate for an end to capital punishment.

The presenters are Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy, MTS, and Dale S. Recinella, JD, MTS.  Ms. Vaillancourt Murphy serves as the Executive Director of Catholic Mobilizing Network, the national Catholic organization seeking to end the death penalty and promote restorative justice. She is the co-author of Advocating for   Justice: An Evangelical Vision for Transforming Systems and Structures (Baker Books, 2016). Mr. Recinella is Founder and President of I was in Prison Outreach Ministry and a licensed attorney. For the last 21 years, he has served as a Catholic death row chaplain in the state of Florida. His most recent book is entitled When We Visit  Jesus in Prison: A Guide for Catholic Ministry (ACTA Publications, 2016).
