This webinar is in Spanish and discusses the significance of identifying and supporting all persons affected by crime and incarceration as well as the obstacles that are encountered when providing this support. It highlights the important role that parish communities can play in tending to families who struggle as a result of a loved one being incarcerated, and it offers ways to constructively respond to the effects of crime and incarceration on both individuals and communities.

The Presenters are Petra Alexander and Julio Escobar. Ms. Alexander is Director of the Office of Hispanic Affairs in the Diocese of San Bernadino and Vice President of the National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors for Hispanic Ministry.  Mr. Escobar is Coordinator of Ministry of Restorative Justice in the Archdiocese of San Francisco and President and Founder of the San Dimas Community, Inc.
