Positioning Catholic Ministries as ‘First Stop’ Upon Release

Chicago’s Kolbe House Jail Ministry is located three blocks from the nation’s third largest US jail system. Kolbe House works to address their re-entry clients’ material needs and, more importantly, their need for spiritual and emotional accompaniment during the early stages of re-entry. Associate Director Deacon Pablo Perez and Pat Sullivan share the evolution of Kolbe House’s reentry programming in this presentation.
