Human Trafficking & Incarceration

Join us for a conversation with the US Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking. Learn why many trafficked women are getting put behind bars for crimes they were forced to do. Hear how the prison system fosters trafficking inside its walls. Join a discussion on finding ways to work together to help women not become victimized once they have gained their freedom from incarceration and go back to their trafficker.

U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking (USCSAHT) is a collaborative, faith-based national network that offers education, supports access to survivor services, and engages in advocacy to eradicate modern-day slavery. They work to inform the public, prevent this assault on human dignity, and assist survivors to live fulfilling lives. Their members include 100+ congregations of Catholic Sisters, coalitions working against human trafficking and individuals who share their mission.
