Description

SPCPM is a Special Works Conference of the Orlando St Vincent de Paul Society. Our mission is to positively influence the lives of men and women re-entering society as ex-offenders. We provide practical instruction through our Passport to Success curriculum, limited economic support, and spiritual counseling/mentorship.
Our commitment embraces the corporal works of mercy to meet the needs of the poor, shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and clothe the naked.

Cornerstone Builders is a comprehensive ministry for those who are either currently or formerly incarcerated as well as for family members impacted by the justice system. We provide monthly visits to state penitentiaries for family members, a mentoring program for children with incarcerated parents, and wraparound and workforce case management for people in the process of being released from prison. We help direct them to the appropriate resources and Catholic Charity Agencies in the various counties of the Diocese of Lansing.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Covington, KY Jail Ministry

Vision – Create a network of trained volunteers that act on Christ’s call of Matthew 25:36 and bring a Catholic presence through the use of existing jail ministry programs, the development of Catholic Charities programs, and the use of community partnerships. The Jail Ministry Program at Catholic Charities in Covington strives to meet the spiritual needs of all who are impacted by the criminal justice process. We work with people who are incarcerated or about to be released from jail or prison, families and friends of the incarcerated, and victims of crime. We emphasize justice and mercy for everyone in our work. We are concerned about the effects of crime and punishment in our society and advocate for justice in these areas while promoting responsibility, rehabilitation, and restoration. Catholic Charities staff works in partnership with agencies, correctional facilities, and volunteers to develop and support appropriate programs for those who are impacted by the effects of crime and punishment.
