The mission of CPMC depends on collaborative efforts and the contributions of organizations and ministries across the country.

As we work toward this mission, WE NEED YOUR HELP in order to make available the best resources and to connect people with the important work of Catholic ministries that serve people affected by incarceration and detention.

The three best ways you can help are to submit a listing of your organization or ministry, submit a relevant article, or submit an upcoming one-time event.

Submit a resource such as an article, book, video, or podcast in order to help educate and serve people affected by incarceration. Such resources also help all of us to learn the landscape of prison and jail ministry, re-entry services, restorative justice, etc.

We thank you for your willingness to join our mission, and we look forward to helping your organization connect with others.

The process of registering for our database has been organized by local, state, and national level listings.

General
The full name of your ministry or non-profit e.g. Joseph House
A brief description of your ministry that, in a few words, helps people understand who you are e.g. Joseph House seeks to serve those most affected by mass incarceration.
Up to a 300-500 word description of your ministry, your description will help visitors to your listing understand who you are, what you do, and how they can get involved.
Images
The cover image is the primary visual component of your listing. If you do not have an idea for one, leave it blank and our interns will work with you
Maximum file size: 256 MB.
Up to seven images of your ministry, you in action, or your staff, all help to give a visual component to your visitors.
Maximum file size: 256 MB. Up to 7 files allowed.
Location
The region of the country that you primarily operate within, it helps visitors with database searches based on region.
e.g. "1815 N 6th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32503"
Ministry Details
A required field, categories are the work that you do (select all that apply), and will help visitors to more easily find you.
An optional field, tags are particular aspects that may apply to your listing, and may help visitors better understand what you offer.

You have the option of selecting days you are open, available by appointment only, or closed.

    As you go through the process, all fields have a description of what they are, how they are used, and they offer recommendations to fill them out. Once you input your information, you'll be given the option to preview your listing and see a draft version before submitting. Once you submit, you'll receive a message that your listing was successfully submitted and it will be sent to us for review.

    Additional Instructions

    The questions for local, state, and national levels are similar, but the state and national listings have a few more required fields. Before you click on the local, state, or national boxes, please gather the following information.

    • Your ministry name (required)
    • A description of up to 400 words about what you do (required)
    • Your logo (preferred)
    • A cover photo that helps capture the idea of what you do (preferred)
    • Contact information, such as address, email, and phone number (required)
    • Your website (required for state + national)

    In the form below, you can submit a resource that pertains to prison or jail ministry, re-entry services, advocacy, or restorative justice. After we receive your resource, we briefly review the content before posting it to our site. 

    To help the review process, please submit the type of resource (article, book, video, podcast, etc.), the source of the resource (author, presenter, or host, etc.), a link to the resource (url link, youtube link, etc.), and a brief synopsis of 100-150 words.

    Submission is free.
