Home for Good in Oregon Training

People from all faith backgrounds are invited to serve as mentors to adults returning from prison to our communities. A program of the Oregon Department of Corrections, the Home for Good in Oregon (HGO) FREE training enables mentors to visit inside the prison before the mentee releases to prepare for the purpose of the program which is to be a guide post-release.

In order to become a mentor for HGO it is necessary to complete a training. Chaplain Phillip Holbrook of the Columbia River Correctional Institution will be presenting this training for the Portland region which includes Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties.
