The Mustard Seed – Lenten Reflections

The Mustard Seed - Lenten Reflections 1

Dear Companions on Our Lenten Journey,

Please accept and join us as we reflect and pray with Brittany Holberg, a resident on Texas Death Row.

We are all called to pray, listen, and nourish our faith during this Lenten journey. Brittany’s faith, initiated in unlikely circumstances, was cultivated by the ongoing presence of a Catholic chaplain. At the chaplain’s invitation, the Sisters of Mary the Morning Star joined the roster of regular visitors to the women on Texas death row. With time, the ladies on Texas’ Death Row joined the ritual of prayer in their cloistered life as Oblates of the Sisters of the Morning Star.

This seed-planting through ministry is bearing spiritual fruit. Join us as we journey through Lent with Brittany’s prayerful reflections. You are welcome to share this gift for the benefit of your communities.

Grateful for your ongoing support, prayer and ministries,

CPMC Team
